Cathedral of Our Lady
Do we really have to introduce this building? A visit to Antwerp without seeing the cathedral is unimaginable! Inside the Cathedral of Our Lady you will no doubt be moved. The Cathedral of Our Lady is the largest Gothic church in the Low Countries. The 123 m tall northern spire, with stone lacework, has been dominating the Antwerp skyline for centuries.

When this Gothic church is sun-drenched it is a splendid sight and it is rightly seen as the pride of the city. You can admire the divine architecture outside, while inside you can stroll in a paradise for art-lovers: colourful stained glass windows, a magnificent pulpit, the finely carved choir stalls and masterpieces of the Antwerp school of painting, including 4 wonderful works by Peter Paul Rubens, among which are the famous Raising of the Cross and Descent from the Cross.
