Every visitor gets a tablet that guides you through an interactive tour. By focusing your tablet on the large aerial photo, you’ll learn more about different hotspots at the port and bring the port to life. For example, follow the journey a banana travels or discover the various nature reserves at the port of Antwerp. If you scan the portrait photo of a port employee, the character comes to life on your screen. With a pair of VR glasses, you’ll get a 360° tour of various locations at the port.
A visit to Portopolis is free of charge, but reservation via the Port of Antwerp-Bruges is required.

There are several activities at Portopolis for the little ones, too. On four separate islands, children can load a container ship themselves, map out a route for their goods or learn how to moor a ship. Would you rather have things explained in person? No problem, our hosts are happy to answer your questions and they can also captivate you with exciting stories, incredible anecdotes and surprising facts about the port. In short: a fun and informative trip for young and old!
