Welcome to the ‘Schoon Verdiep’ (guided tour in Dutch) | individual ticket
This short guided tour (1 hour) on the most impressive floor, the renowned ‘Schoon Verdiep’, of Antwerp City Hall, allows you to discover the monumental splendour, social and cultural significance, current political function and eventful history of this superb building.
TIP: Do you prefer an extended visit (almost 2 hours) to the City Hall where, after viewing the impressive façade, you and your guide gain a broader insight into the history and restoration of the City Hall through an enjoyable audio-visual experience, before going on to discover the Schoon Verdiep? Then go for the more comprehensive tour (Welcome to the City Hall).

Practical information:
- Important: Before going to the Foyer to meet your guide you must pick up your access badge at the reception desk of the City Hall (on the left in the entrance hall, on the side of the Grote Markt) . Please register there 15 minutes before the specified starting time of the tour. The receptionist will check your ticket, note down your name and surname and then give you your access badge. So be sure to arrive on time!
- Attention: No extra ticket sales on site.
- Backpacks, shopping bags, large handbags, water bottles and umbrellas are not allowed but can be stored in lockers before the start of the tour.
- Tour only available in Dutch
- For this guided tour, as an individual participant, you’ll join other individuals till the maximum number of participants is reached.
