Perhaps a dying breed, but Antwerp still has many real brown bars and historic cafes. During our beer tour, the beer sommelier will tell you everything about the brewing process and provide you an overview of different types of Belgian beers. But tasting is better than listening and so 3 degustation beers are included, such as a delicious Belgian Trappist beer.

Of course, along the way, you will hear juicy stories and anecdotes of this historical working-class neighborhood, known as “the Parish of Misery”. Crazy Rik, Tipsy Nel, Mie Lemon and Mie Trottinet…. Folk figures who lived in this district. Poor people, dockers, seamstresses, coffee bean wives and pedlars.
A small selection of authentic popular cafes (*depending on opening hours): Café Beveren with its original Decap organ, De Ware Jacob, Den boer van Tienen, ‘t Oud Arsenaal, ‘t Kloosterke, Heilig Huisken.
